Holiday Soiree Survey, Scholarships and Speakers' Bureau Updates

Posted over 5 years ago by Thais Forbes

SAVE THESE DATES!  Sunday  Dec 2 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Monday Dec 3 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.!

These are the two dates the Board has set aside for consideration of the membership for our 3rd Annual TBAPNC Holiday Soiree!

Soon we will be announcing to members the link to the Holiday Soiree Survey on survey monkey...we have an exciting new venue in mind for this year that will also make it possible for you to pay for a guest to attend but will NEED YOUR INPUT.

Please keep these two dates/times open on your calendar for now until we get the results back from all members who respond to the survey.  The Holiday Soiree will be scheduled for the date chosen by the majority of members who respond to the survey.

It was great to see so many of you at the FNPN conference in Orlando this week, including student members, and NOW the Scholarship Application submission period is open to members of TBAPNC who are also students in one of these three types of programs.

Please make sure you reference the "Scholarships DNP, MSN, PhD in Nursing" tab here on the website and read ALL the instructions first and follow the instructions explicitly, including complete submission of all information IN ONE FILE and submission ON OR BEFORE the deadline.

SPEAKERS' BUREAU -  It is not too late for you to become part of the FIRST TBAPNC SPEAKERS' BUREAU.  We have had many members express an interest but unfortunately many DID NOT PROVIDE the full info we need to include you!  Remember, we need your name, credentials email and contact phone number for the media AND must list your area/topics of expertise for which you will be ready and able to answer calls/questions from the media.  Our Social Media Director Erika Hall is at work on finalizing the first Speakers' Bureau list to announce to the press.  PLEASE complete your profile via the "contact us" form if you would like to be included.

This is a way of giving back and providing relevant health information to our community from the expertise of local advanced practice nurses!.

Thank you!
