and then TAKE ACTION!

See the letter our legislative liaison Gail Sadler posted on our TBAPNC Website and take a moment to contact the Chair of the Senate Health Policy Committee to encourage her to "AGENDA SENATE BILL 972".  This is what Florida needs to provide health care access to ALL in Florida!

For our members to post and share on Facebook :

"Greetings, Facebook family and friends! I have an ask from each and everyone who has been touched by the kindness of a Nurse and treated by a n Advanced Practice Registered Nurse!

As many of you may know I am a Nurse Practitioner. Florida Senate bill SB 972 needs to be placed on the agenda for its first committee hearing.

Unfortunately,Senator Gayle Harrell who is the health policy chair is refusing to hear or place the bill for agenda.

There is a serious need for access to care for the citizens of the State of Florida. There is an insufficient supply of primary care providers and current state laws prevent many citizens from accessing care by Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.

There are over 29,000 APRNs in the State of Florida that can meet the various medical needs.  Please place SB972 on your Committee Agenda."

Please email Senator's Harrell's office at http://www.flsenate.gov/Senators/s25?pref=full

Fax her office 888-263-7895 and call her office 772-221-4019.

Share across the State of Florida!  Let's get the bill on the Senate Health Policy Committee agenda.
