"Happy New Year" from the TBAPNC
Posted over 5 years ago by Charrita Ernewein
On behalf of the Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nurses Council, I would like to wish you and your families a happy and healthy 2020, and also thank you for your support and dedication over the last year! Because of your support we were able to do great things and impact many people in need. In "2019" The TBAPNC group adopted a local elementary school "Sulpher Springs" and was able to provide over 100 backpacks, snacks, and school supplies. We also helped to host a human trafficking awareness event, provided socks to the homeless, provided several continuing education events, and we donated $1000.00 dollars (each) to 5 local charities that provide much-needed services to our communities. These are only a few things that the TBAPNC was able to do while also engaging actively to influence legislation as we strive for "full practice authority".
I look forward to working with all of you to accomplish even more this year. Let's make 2020 even more spectacular as we reach further into our communities to understand their needs and increase the overall positive impact and awareness of APRNs.
