Coronavirus Pandemic Relief Fund 2020

During this pandemic, the Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nurse Council has been working with community organizations to provide resources for people in need.  We realize that this has been a difficult time for many people and are planning to provide support both inside and outside of the organization. We have developed a relief fund to assist members in need, to help feed the hungry, and to help support survivors of human trafficking. Unfortunately, many of our friends, family, and neighbors have lost their jobs or are currently facing financial instabilities. During situations such as these, child abuse, domestic violence, and human trafficking are worse as victims become harder to detect and resources become sparser. Our goal is to assist families who are struggling during this difficult time.

We have committed to helping two local organizations (Metropolitan Ministries and Feeding America/ Tampa Bay), increasing the number of scholarship recipients for our student members, and helping survivors of trafficking as they exit from the trafficking situation and reintegrate into the community.  We have also established a fund to help members in need (until funds are depleted), details on the process can be found on the TBAPNC website. Thank you for your continued support, we plan to see you guys virtually in the near future!

Stay healthy and Safe,
