Call For Nominations

 Although last year brought many challenges to all of our lives, our organization adapted with Zoom meetings replacing in person meetings and we welcomed some amazing new members to our Board.  As the world returns to its "new normal" it is time now to begin accepting nominations for Board positions for next year.  The available positions for next year are Vice President, Treasurer and Managing Director.  It is more important than ever that we stay strong and support our organization.  If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please email me at terrimassaro@yahoo.com.  Please send your name or the name of the person you are nominating along with contact information, phone number and email address.  The responsibilities for the positions are listed below.  So, if you love being an APRN and have a heart for service, please consider for running for one of these positions.  Nomintions will be taken from now until Sept 15.  Must be a voting member in good standing to apply.  

Vice President

  1. Assumes the role of the President should the President be absent or unable to serve
  2. Chairs the Program Committee, arranging speakers, continuing education credits and meeting locations
  3. Exercises the duties and responsibilities of a member of the Board of Directors

Treasurer- must be bondable

  1. Keep records of all debits and credits relevant to the Council
  2. Report monetary needs, expenditures and balances for the Council as recognized by the Board of Directors
  3. Chair the Finance Committee
  4. Oversee preparation of the budget and present it to the Board of Directors
  5. Maintain a checking account, make deposits and make payments as required to fullfill the objectives of the Council
  6. Complete and maintain any financial document as required by law or by the Council
  7. Exercise the duties and responsibilites of a member of the Board of Directors

Managing director

  1. Maintain the historical records of the Council
  2. Maintain a running account of accomlishments of members, such as publications, award and other recognitions
  3. Exercises the duties and responsibilities of the Board of Directors
