"Nurse Practitioner Role Ranked First"

Posted over 3 years ago by Debbie Devine

I could not have said it better than Associated Dean for Academic Affairs for Graduate Clinical Education at the University of Florida's College of Nursing:

I am not surprised but excited to share U.S. News & World Report has ranked NP roles as #1 for “Best Health Care Jobs” and RN roles as #5.  In the category of “2022 100 Best Jobs” NPs were ranked #2 in the “Overall Best Jobs of 2022” and RNs were #12.  Of special interest is the number of projected jobs in both of these areas. See the links below for more detailed information.

U.S. News & World Report has ranked the nurse practitioner role first on its 2022 Best Health Care Jobs list and second on its 2022 100 Best Jobs list. The annual rankings take into account the most important aspects of a job, including opportunities for growth, work-life balance and salary.
