Just some things to remember, honor, and explore during the month of February.
February is American Heart Month, a time when all people can focus on their cardiovascular health. Heart disease is not picky it can affect anyone, anywhere.
February is National Cancer Prevention Month. Cancer risk can be decreased with simple healthy lifestyle changes and early detection.
February is dedicated to Black History Month, honoring the triumphs and struggles of African Americans throughout U.S. history.
Feb 14this of course Valentine’s Day, but it is also National Organ Donor Day, National Donor Day is an observance dedicated to spreading awareness and education about organ, eye, and tissue donation.
Feb 17th is Random Acts of Kindness Day. February 14 through February 20th is a week dedicated to kindness and taking that extra, conscious step to brighten somebody's day.
Feb 21st is Presidents’ Day. Originally established in 1885 in recognition of President George Washington, the holiday became popularly known as Presidents' Day after it was moved as part of 1971’s Uniform Monday Holiday Act, an attempt to create more three-day weekends for the nation’s workers.
