What is Nurse Practitioner Week?

National Nurse Practitioner Week is held annually to celebrate these exceptional health care providers and to remind lawmakers of the importance of removing outdated barriers to practice so that nurse practitioners (NPs) will be allowed to practice to the full extent of their experience and education.

NP Week 2020 will be held on November 8–14. Come join us this week in sharing your history and comments regarding the following topics. We are looking forward to hearing from you.  Have a Safe and Happy NP Week!

Monday: What is a Nurse Practitioner?

Tuesday: Who inspired you as a Nurse Practitioner?

Wednesday: History of the Nurse Practitioner.

Thursday: Local change happening now.

Friday: How will you make a change?

Mark your calendars to celebrate November 8–14, 2020.

Happy Nurse Practitioners Week to all of the hard working NP's out there. Although this has been an exceptionally hard year for many of us, we all realize and recognize that our role as NP's requires 100% from us 24/7/365. Stay safe!
