COVID VACCINE Volunteers NEEDED, do Not have to be alums

Dear USF Nursing Alumni, 
 
As we begin a new year still reeling in many ways from the varied challenges of the past year, we want to take a moment to recognize your endurance and your grit. As nurses we are always at the forefront caring and treating our patients. Thank you for being an inspiration to our students and faculty as you have been a striking example of what a bull nurse can do for our community.
 
Our students and faculty are volunteering their time to vaccinate citizens of Hillsborough County over the next few months. We would like to invite you to volunteer with us! Our country needs our skills to beat the pandemic. Below are the current community service initiatives:
 
Vaccination Opportunities
COVID-19 Vaccine Volunteer Initiative at Morsani:
Clinic hours: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday
Location:
13330 USF Laurel Drive
1st floor room 1013
Tampa, FL 33612
Students may have the opportunity to get the vaccine.
 
Senior Housing COVID-19 Vaccination Event (Department of Health):
Clinic Hours: hours dependent on senior living facility
Location:
Varies per facility
 
We invite you to join us on the frontline as we practice our values in service of public health. Vaccination opportunities begin Feb. 6. In order to volunteer, please complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Education module.
 
For more information, email clinical@usf.edu to sign up. In your email, include: 1) title of the specific opportunity in the subject line, 2) specific dates you would like to volunteer and, 3) identify yourself as an alumni volunteer.
